This is a Motormouth couple car review of the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country model. The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is in its element in St. John’s, Newfoundland. It’s my first time in Newfoundland, what a beautiful place. We are driving from St. John’s today and heading across Newfoundland The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado has four powertrain options, the base engine is a 2.7L turbocharged 4-cylinder with an 8-speed automatic transmission, 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. We are driving the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado High Country model with a 6.2L V8 paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission, 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The standard engine for High Country is the 5.3L V8 with 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Standard 4WD for this trim. Another option for 2024 Chevrolet Silverado Silverado, which we are a fan of, is the 3L Duramax turbo diesel with 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque. The Silverado has both 2WD and 4WD options available depending on the trim. There are so many powertrains to choose from and different trims for different budgets. If you want something with all the bells and whistles, High Country is a great option, want an off-road adventurer, the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 is perfect, but if want something basic on a budget that still gets the job done, Chevrolet has you covered. This 2024 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck has many variations a regular cab, double cab and crew cab. There’s a standard 6.5 foot-bed, a short 5.6 foot-bed or an 8-foot-long bed depending on the trim. It has a maximum payload capacity of 2,260 pounds.
