Ford hikes prices of electric F-150 pickup truck again as costs surge

(Reuters) - Ford Motor Co has raised the base price of its popular F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck again, the automaker's website showed on Thursday, the latest in a series of price hikes aimed at offsetting high costs. Shares of Ford were up 2% in afternoon trade. The latest increase takes the base model's price to $59,974, nearly 50% higher than when the truck was launched last year.
